As part of a long-term initiative to enhance the University's campuses, Rutgers Food Court Plaza on the New Brunswick campus is part of the College Avenue Greening improvement phase.

Let It Grow was brought in as part of a design/build phase of this project with Skanska to do the work for the rehabilitation of the College Avenue Student Center Food Court Plaza and Streetscape from Morrell Street to Senior Street.  The food court offers a wide variety of fare for the students along the plaza including Au Bon Pain, Subway and Szechuan Express along with various other vendors.

Let It Grow’s scope of work included demolition, soil erosion control, pedestrian safety measures, transit shelter footings, lighting, concrete sidewalks, trees and bluestone curbing.  A notable element of the design scheme was a scarlet ribbon of decorative pavers on a concrete base; a collaborative effort between Skanska, Rutgers and Let It Grow to design the smallest details that made the project such a success.

Let It Grow is always proud to be a part of the ongoing construction and campus enhancement projects at Rutgers University.
